Nestled in the heart of Old Town Side, Alchemy Rooms has been welcoming travellers for over 46 years. Originally opened in 1978 by Murat’s parents as a small guest house for backpackers, it has grown into a place filled with warmth, history and soul.

In 1995, Murat met Jo, a guest who later became his partner in both life and hospitality. Together they created the beautiful space Alchemy Rooms is today.

During renovations in 2019, ancient ruins and mosaics believed to be part of the old marketplace beside the Grand Bathhouse were uncovered beneath the property, now visible from our peaceful glassed garden.

Just 100 meters from the beach and moments from the Apollo Temple, Amphitheatre, Side Museum, restaurants and shops, Alchemy Rooms is perfectly placed for those wanting to experience the timeless beauty of Side. 🌿
